THE NEED FOR DISCIPLINE

The rising and setting of the sun, the change of seasons at regular intervals and persistent movement of ants in a straight line all convey a very important message to us--the need for disciplne. Discipline has the most important place in the life of a student. Being disciplined means following the rules laid out by parents, teachers and elders be it at home, in school or in society. We must learn to respect our elders, to learn punctuality and to wear proper clothes. We must also follow the instructions given by our parents and teachers and behave well among our friends. We must also remember to treat public property as carefully as we would our own. If we adopt these small measures and become self-disciplined, then we will definitely progress in life. The word discipline itself proves o be perfect. Add the number of each alphabet in the word (for example, D is 4 since it is the fourth letter of the alphabets) and you will get 100.
